Abstrak

This research is a research conducted because of the background of the lack of learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, which is caused by less effective learning methods so that some students experience difficulties in following a teaching and learning process. The purpose of this research is to further improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, specifically zakat material for students at SMK Baramuli Pinrang. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with a qualitative approach. Which is carried out with several stages starting from consisting of four stages, namely preparation, activities, observation, and reflection. Observation and documentation tests are used to collect data in this study. The research data is evaluated both subjectively, where the results of the study show that improvements in Islamic Religious Education learning can certainly be achieved through the application of the learning model with Problem Based Learning. This has increased student learning interest. This increase can be seen in changes in the use of learning models that suit students' needs, so that students more easily understand the material and are active in the learning process. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model has proven effective in improving the activity and learning outcomes of zakat material in Islamic Religious Education for students at SMK Baramuli Pinrang.
