PENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR FIKIH MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DI MTS DDI KABALLANGAN KABUPATEN PINRANG

Problem-based learning (PBL) is a learning model that utilizes real-life problems with the aim of preparing and familiarizing students to face challenges they may encounter in their daily lives. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The action implementation was conducted in cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through tests, interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative analysis. The indicator of success was achieved when 80% of students reached the minimum mastery criterion (KKM) of 75 and when students showed active participation during the learning process, as observed from the observation sheets. Based on the results of data analysis and the discussion presented, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model in the topic of buying and selling (fiqh al-buyu‘) has improved the learning outcomes of Grade IX students at MTs DDI Kaballangan, Pinrang Regency. This improvement is evident from the increase in the average post-test score in Cycle I, which was 74.82 with a mastery level of 55.03%, and in Cycle II, which increased to 86.82 with a mastery level of 88.08%. Thus, the application of the Problem-Based Learning model is considered successful in improving students’ learning outcomes on the topic of buying and selling, as it has met the predetermined indicators of success.
