Peranan Kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah Terhadap Upaya Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan di MAN Pinrang

This study aims to analyze the role of the madrasah principal’s leadership in improving the quality of education at MAN Pinrang, Pinrang Regency. The research focuses on the forms of leadership, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the impact of leadership on educational quality improvement. This study employs a qualitative approach with field research methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal that the principal’s leadership plays a vital role in creating a conducive learning environment, motivating teachers, and enhancing students’ achievement. The principal demonstrates charisma, classroom mastery, as well as strong managerial and supervisory skills. The main supporting factors are teacher professionalism and adequate facilities, while the main obstacles are time constraints and workload. Overall, effective leadership significantly contributes to improving the quality of education at MAN Pinrang.
