This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) in improving students’ learning outcomes in the Al-Qur’an Hadith subject at the junior secondary school level. The NHT model was implemented as a collaborative learning strategy that promotes active participation, group responsibility, and individual accountability in understanding lesson content. The research was conducted by administering a pretest, applying the NHT-based learning process, and providing a posttest to measure students’ progress. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ achievement after the implementation of the NHT model, as evidenced by increased conceptual understanding, higher participation, and improved ability to respond independently and within groups. These results highlight that the NHT model is effective for Al-Qur’an Hadith learning because it fosters an interactive, collaborative, and meaningful learning environment.Downloads
