This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping students’ moral character at SMP Negeri 3 Pinrang. The research focuses on teachers’ strategies, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the impact of their efforts on students’ behavior. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with field research methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that Islamic Religious Education teachers play a significant role in instilling moral values through exemplary behavior, habituation, and persuasive communication. Supporting factors include collaboration among teachers and parental involvement, while obstacles involve limited time and students’ varying backgrounds. Overall, Islamic Religious Education teachers contribute greatly to the formation of students’ character and moral awareness in accordance with Islamic values.
