Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to determine the use of learning media at UPT SDN 174 Pinrang, identify the learning difficulties experienced by fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 174 Pinrang, and describe the efforts made by teachers to overcome learning difficulties through the use of learning media at UPT SDN 174 Pinrang. The type of research used is a case study with a qualitative method, where data is collected in the from of observation, documentation, and interviews.

The focus of this research is on the efforts of the Islamic Religious Education and Character Education teachers at UPT SDN 174 Pinrang in using learning media to address the learning difficulties experienced by fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 174 Pinrang.

The results of thus research show that: 1) During the Islamic Religious Education and Character Education lessons in the fifth grade at UPT SDN 174 Pinrang, Mrs Hariani used several learning media. 2) Some students experienced learning difficulties such as poor reading fluency, poor writing fluency, easy boredom, forgetfulness, and difficulty concentrating during Islamic Religious Education and Character Education lessons. 3) The efforts by Mrs. Hariani to overcome learning difficulties include using appropriate and varied learning media, such as textbooks, educational videos, and posters, to make Islamic Religious Education and Character Education lessons effective an to enhance students interest and motivation.
